Since long back
I yearn for a moment
When I can write
A few words for those killed
Because I believed
It would lessen this pain.
But words won’t flow
When I remember those dying agonies
Their eager souls searching for unity
That Satan took away from us.
They call it martyrdom
They call it dignity
And yet my friends
I long to call it liberty.
For sure I know
You are smiling there, singing and dancing
In God’s own kingdom
This bonded soul hates
To hear these mourning
Men made guns
Men made bullets
Men used them
In the name of justice
Yeah, this is justice indeed.
The greatest justice is
Slaughter of innocents
Like animals in slaughter house
Their hands wield guns
I know you didn’t have them
Yet you had the nicest hearts
Your mothers are not wailing
They are just enjoying
Your liberation from bondage,
I pray to God
That let not your true souls
Come again to this unholy land
I do not wish to see your sufferance again
I know I don’t have an innocent heart
That is why I fear it
Oh! Rich souls in heaven
Bless me enough to be like you.
