The Dawn of Knowledge
Parthajit Borah *
A vigorous century was waiting to greet
the generation.
Someone lighted the flames of hope on the womb of the
blue horizon.
It was the flame of light to fight.
It was the ray of knowledge to flow the sea of science.
Twinkling stars of the sky stared at the moon to white
the river for spewing the waves of cognizance to torch a
race for dreaming the dream of triumph.
The blue water of the river glides the appron of gleam to
assault the flecks of darkness.
The pall of black dusk rushed from the ethos for the
penetration of enlightenment which gave birth
the progenitor of new truth,
in search of new view.
