Swu, Muivah head to Delhi for talks
Nagaland Post | Dimapur, Apr 3 (NPN):
NSCN (I-M) “Yaruiwo” Isak Chishi Swu and “Ato Kilonser” Th. Muivah, left Dimapur for New Delhi Tuesday for another round of parley with the Government of India.
Before the departure, the leaders said they were expecting positive results from the Government of India this time. Isak said the Government of India was willing to come forward for a settlement. “Last time we met the Prime Minister and Home Minister and they had shown positive attitude towards the Naga problem,” said Isak Swu.
Chief negotiator and NSCN (I-M) “Ato Kilonser” Th. Muivah said “We are waiting for a final response from the Government of India. Our history is unique and our solution should also be based on the uniqueness of Naga history”. The collective leadership also said that the exact dates for the talks have not been fixed yet.
