Sound of environment
Moirangthem Minakshi Devi *
A fierce fracus occurs again between the Nature and the Mankind,
From Covid pandemic to 'Amphan - Nisarg' and forest fire, the Earth is in a mess.
She lingers to ravage and plunder lancing a mighty furore over ingrate mass,
Nature's green hair stretches as vast forest that is torn and burnt,
Her glistening face and skin- water bodies and land are dumped with plastic waste
Her breathe- air layer is poisoned with green-house and toxic gases.
But alas! Nature's current breakdown eludes the Human's purblind eyes.
Globe prioritising arm- revolution and wrestling for economic growth;
A chaos on global race for power as well progress hangs in high,
Seeking boost in 'Human Civilization' at the cost of vibrant Nature.
Nature now cries pristine tears- untimely storms, vengeful downpour and flood;
She starves and aches- drought to famine, global warming to polar amplification.
Humans! Lock your greed for Nature's recharge and to scale down her overuse.
Protect environment, forget not the 'Three R's' of waste - Reduce, Recycle & Reuse
Plant trees a lot around homes withal outsides for a green future,
Celebrate biodiversity and nurture a cordial bond with the sickened Nature.
