Sonia buys time on CM : Holi defers swearing-in in Manipur
The Telegraph | Khelen Thokchom | Imphal, March 9:
Holi has put on hold the swearing-in of the new ministry in Manipur — at least for the five days during which the state will celebrate the festival of colours.
Sonia Gandhi is also taking advantage of the 5-day breather while selecting the leader of the next Congress government in the state.
The sources added that Sonia Gandhi was buying time before taking the final decision by taking advantage of Holi. “She wants to convince all the contenders of the top post that whatever be the decision, it would be in the interest of the party and the state,” one of the sources said.
