Senior KYKL leader held
The Telegraph | Pallel, June 26 :
A joint team comprising city police officials from the operation unit and CRPF personnel of the 175th battalion arrested a senior member of the Kanglei Yawol Kunna Lup (KYKL) rebel group from Guwahati railway station last evening.
The joint team apprehend Sairem Amudon alias Sundar when he arrived at the station by the Brahmaputra Mail.
Police sources said he was coming from Nepal and boarded the train at New Jalpaiguri station. He was on his way to Dimapur in Nagaland. However, no arms or ammunition was recovered from him.
