Kh Sanjoy Singh of Modern English School, Imphal emerged champion with 7.5 points from eight rounds in the South Point School North East Chess Tournament, organised by Guwahati Chess Association, that concluded at South Point School indoor stadium here today.
In the last round, he settled for a draw with fourth seed Rishideep Bordoloi of Delhi Public School, Duliajan who finished runners-up with seven points.
