Royal Charter Day celebrated at Government Polytechnic, Takyel
The Institution of Engineers (India) Manipur State Centre celebrated “ROYAL CHARTER DAY” on 9th September 2021 (Thursday) through hybrid mode (online) and at the Seminar Hall of the State Centre at Government Polytechnic Campus, Takyel, Imphal.
The welcome addressed was delivered by Er. Achom Roudrajit Moirang, MIE, Honorary Secretary, IEI Manipur State Centre.
The celebration was graced by Er. R R Tanwar, FIE, Chairman, Centre’s Coordinating Committee (CCC), IEI HQ as Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker. He spoke about the importance of celebrating the Royal Charter Day.
He also narrated a brief history about the Institution. He spoke at length about his experience during his tenure at various Corporations, Companies and Projects. He also narrated his brief experience during his stay in Manipur as Sub-Divisional Officer (Electrical/HQ) from 1974-86 at Loktak Project Manipur.

The presidential address was delivered by Er. Thangjam Joykumar Singh, FIE, Chairman, IEI Manipur State Centre. The vote of thanks was delivered by Er. Achom Roudrajit Moirang, MIE, Honorary Secretary, IEI Manipur State Centre.
The event was hosted by Dr. Thokchom Subhaschandra Singh, Joint Honorary Secretary, IEI Manipur State Centre.
The celebration was attended by various State Centre’s of IEI from various parts of India, Past Chairman’s of IEI Manipur State Centre, Corporate Members of IEI Manipur State Centre
