Resolution of the 1st General Body Meeting Of MSAP 2012-13

The meeting was presided over by Thoudam Kirankumar , Hon'ble President, MSAP, Pune. Thoudam Kirankumar, President, MSAP, Pune welcomed all the members and invitees. He also tabled the proposed annual work plan of MSAP for the year 2012-13 as well as all the related documents and information regarding the formation of new executive body of the association for the session 2012-13. He introduced the new executive members as well as the volunteers to the elders present in the meeting. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to all the members for their active participation and support during the 1st phase of the students' database Collection Programme. Kangjam Suraj Singh, Secy, Games & Sports tabled the estimated budget for the Annual Sports Meet- 2012 in the meeting and requested for their active participation as well as financial support from all sections. He sought the approval of this event. He also invited for any addition/omission in the events proposed. Further, he sought the advice from the elders regarding smooth conduction of the same.
All the members and invitees appreciated the proposed annual work plan of MSAP for the year 2012-13.
With the permission of the president, members and invitees were deliberated upon the agenda and the following points have been agreed unanimously by the members attended the meeting:
1. The misunderstanding arises due to the name of the association has been resolved and decided to be final as the "MANIPUR STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION, PUNE (MSAP)".
2. To make a complete students' data base, it has been decided to approach the school/college/university/institution in and around Pune during the 2nd phase of the students' data collection campaign.
3. The estimated budget for the Annual Sports' Meet - 2012 has been approved and decided to hold Sports' Meet during 18-20 January, 2012 at the University of Pune play ground. The working professionals present in the meeting have given assurance for their active participation. They also assured to help financially and morally for this Sports' meet a grand success.
4. The executive body has been entrusted to decide the cash prizes of the winners and runners-up for cricket and football but it should proportionately be decided with the entry fee collected. However, rolling trophies will be instituted for both the events from this year.
5. On request from the Secretary,Games & Sports regarding the sponsorship of these rolling trophies, Shri. H. Narendra Singh volunteered to sponsor the winner's trophy for football. However, the executive body has been entrusted to decide and purchase the trophy.
6. It has also been decided to get this association registered under the societies registration act 1862. President and/or General Secretary, being one of the signatory authority, has been entrusted to initiate the process for this. On request from all sections, Shri H. Narendra Singh volunteered to help in this regard.
7. Members decided to open an account of the association with any nationalized bank after getting registered. The bank account shall be in the name of the association and shall be operated under the joint signature of any two office bearers among the President, General Secretary and Treasurer.
8. To ease the fund raising/collection process from the donors/sympathizers for the Annual Sports' meet and/or any event, the personal Account for Manmohan Ak.Treasurer, MSAP( **** ) will be used temporally till a new account is opened.
9. On request from all sections, Vimol Kshetrimayum volunteered to create a free home page of the association so that the students' database may be uploaded in the web page (only the viewing right). He is also requested to give access the existing PUMA group mail to MSAP so that they could reac to the working professionals through e-mail.
10. To reach out the maximum Manipuri population in and around Pune for their active participation in any event organised by MSAP, the need of strengthening the role of the Secy, Information and Publicity is mentioned by Bhumenjoy Konsam and supported by all.
11. Keeping in view of the huge donation in getting admission, Dr. Ramanando Kh volunteered to help in needy students to get admission in reputed institution(s) without such donation/capitation fee asked by intermediate persons.
12. It has also been decided to maintain transparency for all the activities, preferably through the group mail as done earlier.
13. It has been decided to publish the annual calendar. Photography Competition amongst the members as well as the working professional would be organized to select the photograph(s) to be appeared in the calendar. On request, Bhumenjoy Konsam volunteered to help in this regard.
14. It has been decided to see the feasibility/possibility to publish the annual magazine of MSAP. The executive body will discuss this matter internally and will be discussed again in the next meeting.
15. All the members and invitees appreciated the proposed annual work plan of MSAP for the year 2012-13 but decided to discuss separately from time to time for its execution.
Meeting was ended with votes of thanks by Shri Sinam Sadananda Singh, Secretary,MSAP, Pune followed by high tea.
