Sub.:- Request for opening a Mini Passport Seva Kendra in Manipur State.
Sir,
I, on behalf of the general public of Manipur have the honour to lay the following few lines for your kind and favorable consideration in the public interest of Manipur.
That, Manipur is so far from Delhi and situated at the border of Burma and it is neglected area by the central government and other states of India. There is no any Passport office in Manipur State yet and the passport forms were submitted into the speed post counter of Imphal Head Post office but the facility was dropped since 30th March, 2012 and we are forced to go to Guwahati (Assam) for submission of passport forms, we have to spend at least fifteen to twenty thousand as fare, hotel expenses and broker's charges and it is not possible for all, specially senior citizens and poor persons who want to go Hajj/abroad etc.
So, you are requested to take necessary steps to open a Mini Passport Seva Kendra in Manipur as soon as possible and solve the problems, facing by general public of Manipur.
Thanking you.
Yours sincerely,
(Dr. Riyazuddin Falahi)
