Relatives of WW II veterans pray for peace

“The younger generation have learned a lot from war. But we should spread the message not to repeat it for the future generation. We should make friendship,” said Christopher D Johnson, author of the popular war book Forgotten Army’s Boxes of Lion.
Christopher was here along with friends and relatives of British war veterans to find out the footprints of their fathers and forefathers who lost their lives in the Imphal battle which claimed many lives besides destroying many properties. Christopher had lost his British Army officer father during the battle at Kanglatongbi, 20 km north of Imphal
