Reel story: Most in region unhappy with ‘Mary Kom

Even as Sanjay Leela Bhansali's biopic 'Mary Kom' runs to packed houses, people from the northeast feel that the filmmaker has failed to do justice to the subject in many ways.
...Things would have worked aesthetically/critically in the filmmaker's favour if they would had said 'inspired by the life of Mary Kom' and made a film that is a Bollywood commercial interpretation of Mary's struggle for glory," said Oinam Doren, who won the Rajat Kamal .
