Abstract:
Fibonacci sequence is one of the most well known integer sequences in nature which appears in almost all areas of science and engineering, not to mention arts and aesthetics. It is one example of a general family of Binary recurrence sequences.
This talk will address an overview of Binary recurrence sequences, their interesting properties and arithmetic. Some well known open problems in the areas will also be highlighted. This talk will be accessible to a wider scientific audience.
