Protest rocks Manipur public hearing on oil exploration
Seven Sisters Post | Yumnam Rupachandra & David Mayum | Imphal (Aug 1)
Effort by a foreign company to get public support for their oil exploration bid in Jiribam in Imphal East, Tamenglong and Churachandpur districts in Manipur hit the first major hurdle following protest by several anti-oil exploration activists in both the two public hearings in Jiribam on Monday.
