Plea to make stadium free zone
The Telegraph | Imphal, April 22:
Sportspersons and coaches took out a rally today, demanding that Khuman Lampak sports complex be made a “free zone” for sports and other occupants should be asked to vacate the premises.
The sportspersons and coaches took out a demonstration with placards in and around the complex yesterday, voicing their concern over a number of issues, including the presence of a large number of oil tankers parked on the campus.
They also demanded that the Autonomous District Council office on the campus should be shifted and called for its members to vacate the hostel rooms that they are occupying.
