“The Committee expressed its displeasure that till March 31, 1337 infrastructure projects worth Rs10,863 crore were approved of which only 645 projects worth Rs3,531 crore have been completed which is just 48.24 per cent,” said Naidu in his report presented in the Parliament recently.
According to the findings o f the panel, three of 70 projects on roads and bridges i n Arunachal Pradesh; 84 of 210 projects on roads and bridges in Assam; one of 14 projects on health and 17 of 46 projects on water supply in Manipur and only five of 23 projects on education in Meghalaya have been completed so far. “The performance is not convincing at all,” the panel informed in the Parliament.
