Panel slams link-road delay in NE

A parliamentary panel has expressed concern that even after more than six decades of Independence, many district headquarters in the Northeast are yet to be connected by two-lane roads.
Expressing its displeasure on the road sector progress, the committee said of the 670km East-West corridor in the Northeast, only 472km has been completed so far and of 88 district headquarters, only 23 are connected by two-lane roads
