North East India to experience heavy rains

Monsoon is fast approaching the NE region of the country. The India Meteorology Department (IMD) stated in the inference it made this morning, that conditions are favourable for advance of the Southwest Monsoon into some parts of the Northeastern States during the next 48 hours. The RMC has also said in its forecast for the NE States that rain or thundershowers would occur at many places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next 24 hours.
