No rollback of NE investment policy

Setting at rest speculations over the fate of the North East India Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy 2007, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma, while ruling out its rollback, said investments into the region is bound to flow in once the connectivity with the South East Asian countries is established.
“No, there is no possibility of reversal of the North East Industrial package, the minister told newsmen. Sharma was part of the official delegation led by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to Indonesia.
