Naxals seek help from NE outfit to revenge Kishenji's death
Naagland Post | New Delhi, Jan 8 (NPN)
Intelligence agencies have reportedly received inputs that the CPI (Maoist) has sought the help of Assam based insurgent group-- Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) indicating a retaliation of an “unprecedented scale” to revenge the killing of CPI (M) No. 3 and top commander Koteswar Rao alias Kishenji in West Bengal November last year.
Talking to Nagaland Post, a senior police official said they have received inputs that “something big” would happen anytime, anywhere. He said Centre has also informed all Maoist infested states to be on high alert.
The arrest of two cadres of the People’s Liberation Army of Manipur-- N. Dilip Singh and Arun Kumar Singh Salam on October 1 last in Delhi was to discuss modalities regarding providing logistics, weapons and communication training to the Maoists, he said. The conspiracy to form a ‘strong united front’ against India along with NE outfits and Kashmir-based militants were exposed, he added.
