National eFDP on Unoganized Sector concluded

RGU Department of Commerce Weeklong National eFDP on Unoganized Sector Concluded
Rajiv Gandhi University Department of Commerce led one week national eFDP on Unorganized Sector was concluded on 29th August 2020. This programme had total fifteen technical sessions divided into five days wherein each day had two to four technical sessions.
During these technical sessions, a large variety of areas were covered including sociological, economical, political, mass media, legal, gender, entrepreneurship & research, etc. Each technical session of the programme was addressed by a renowned academician, scholar and expert of the respective domain, which includes many veteran academicians i.e. Prof. Jagan Karade [SUK, Kolhapur], Prof. Shreenivas Khandewale [RSTMNU, Nagpur], Prof. Sanjai Bhatt [DSSW, Delhi], Prof. Pamela Singla [DSSW, Delhi], Prof. Bhagwan Singh [CUJ, Jharkhand], Prof. Molankal Gangabhushan M. [Assam University], Prof. Balaji Kendre Namdev [University of Mumbai], Prof. Shruti Tambe [SPPU, Pune], Prof. Hasanalli A. Hudda [VGIASS, Nagpur], Prof. Chnadrakant Chaudhari [Nasik], Dr. Rajendra Singh [Tarun Bharat Sangh, Rajasthan], etc.
This programme was organized under the aegis of Commerce Department, RGU Arunachal Pradesh under the leadership of Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, RGU in collaboration and association with four other departments of RGU including Sociology, Social Work, Mass Communication, and Education, and two premier institutions of Maharashtra including Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded and Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
The collaboration and coordination with Maharashtra Institutions was handled by Dr. Digamabar Madhavrao Tangalwad, Assistant Registrar [SRTMUN] as Maharashtra State Institutional Collaboration Coordinator. The Department of Sociology was the collaborating department from Maharashtra State Universities. Majority of participants participated in this programme were from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Uttar Pradesh. However, almost every state of India participated in this weeklong eFDP on unorganized sector.
Valedictory session started at around 12.30 pm with welcome address by Digambar Madhavrao Tangalwad [SRTMUN] followed by direct online feedback presentation to the programme by the participants including one from Arunachal Pradesh, one from south India, and two from Mahrashtra. Dr. Ravi Ranjan Kumar, Coordinator, eFDP presented the overall programme report.
Prof. Otem Padung, HoD of the organizing department and Director, eFDP put his own concluding remark during his address to the august gathering where he congratulated the entire organizing team for successful conclusion of the technical session of the programme and expressed his strong intent and interest to continue this kind of academic event in upcoming days too.
Prof. Azhar Iqbal Shaikh, Director, School of Social Sciences, SRTMUN, Nanded put his concluding remark on the occasion where he manifested his enormous pleasure to this kind of collaborative initiative with the host institution and assured such association and collaboration in future too. The valedictory session of the programme was attended by Prof. Amitava Mitra, Pro Vice Chancellor and Prof. Tomo Riba, Registrar of RGU as Chairperson and Co-Chairperson respectively of the valedictory session, who expressed their own reflection to the theme of the programme during their address.
Finally, vote of thanks was extended by the eFDP Convener and Coordinator, Dr. V.K.Yadav, where he expressed his warm and sincere thanks to all the esteemed learned resource persons, participants, organizing team members, university administration and mass media of Arunachal Pradesh for covering this event properly. Dr. Shashank Yadav, Coordinator, eFDP was the master of valedictory session of the programme and Dr. Nawaz Khan was the Joint Coordinator of the programme. Thus, entire organizing team played a very crucial and substantial role consistently to make the programme successful.
Lastly, the overall eFDP feedback submission work was done by the participants so as provide essential inputs to the parent organizing department and institution for making further such events meaningful and successful ones. An eDFP final test was also conducted on 29th August 2020 i.e. sixth day of the pogamme for facilitating the distribution of eCertificate and eAward to the worthy and deserving participants so as to recognize the efforts and sincerity of the participants and maintain the value of eCertificate and eAward to be issued.
