Naga solution in 6 months: Nagaland Gov
Nagaland Post | Kohima, mar 6 (NPN)
Nagaland Governor, P.B. Acharya on Tuesday disclosed that the Naga political issue would be resolved within six months. He asserted that if Nagaland and the Northeast were to progress, then the Naga issue should be brought to a conclusion and welfare of Nagas should be on the agenda.
Interacting with media persons at Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday, Acharya said inclusion of Naga areas from Manipur, Assam and Myanmar to form a greater Nagaland was a difficult task and might not be possible immediately. He, however, said welfare of Nagas should be the agenda of Nagaland. He expressed happiness at the appeal of NSCN (I-M) leader Th. Muivah to observe fast on March 18 and said he too would fast that day.
