NSCN factions sign truce pacts
The Telegraph | H. Chishi | Kohima, April 27:
The National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Reformation) signed a ceasefire agreement with the Centre while the NSCN (Khole-Kitovi) signed a ceasefire extension with the Centre in New Delhi today. The NSCN (R) was led by Wangtin Naga and the NSCN (K-K) was led by Jack Zhimomi, the convener of the ceasefire supervisory board.
The modalities for the ceasefire with the NSCN (R) will remain almost the same with other Naga groups. The area of ceasefire will be confined within the state of Nagaland in writing but the outfit said the Centre has verbally agreed to extend truce upto Arunachal Pradesh.
