NSCN(K) to set up office at Khamti in Myanmar
Seven Sisters Post | UNI | Kohima (May 9):
The NSCN(K) would set up sub-offices at Khamti in Myanmar’s Lahe district for easy communication between the two sides.
The step followed the Ceasefire Agreement the outfit signed with the Myanmar Government on April 9.
A release issued by the ‘Ministry of Information and Publicity’(MIP) of NSCN(K) said the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Khaplang) team went for the Ceasefire Agreement with Myanmar and was warmly welcomed by families of Naga, Kachin, Shan and Burma at Khamti harbour.
