NSCN (K) reiterates 'sovereignty' stand
Nagaland Post | Kohima, Apr 21
NSCN (K) has once again reiterated that there could be no “reconciliation” at the expense of sovereignty stating that it (sovereignty) was not a “mere traditional concept”.
Kughalu Mulatonu, envoy to NSCN (K) chairman SS Khapalang told this correspondent that “If the Greeks, Koreans, Myanmarese, Africans, Latinos have not given up sovereignty in substitute for peace, development and socio-economic stability, why should Nagas be?” Mulatonu conveyed Khaplang’s greetings to the “foreigners” and “Christian believers” on the occasion of NBCC’s Platinum jubilee adding that “this occasion is itself a posture of Nagas’ right to sovereignty and Nagaland for Christ.”
