NSCN-IM accuses MHA for trying to derail cease-fire
Seven Sisters Post | UNI | Kohima (Apr 22):
The NSCN (IM) has accused the ministry of home affairs (MHA) of trying to derail the cease-fire agreement between the Centre and the underground faction.
In a statement on Saturday, NSCN leaders alleged MHA joint secretary (North East) Shambhu Singh is ‘feeding’ Prime Minister’s office at Delhi with inputs against the Nagas in the interest of Meiteis and himself so that he could become the chief secretary of Manipur.
“For Shambu Singh, cease fire and Naga solution is not important, his interest lies in becoming the chief secretary of Manipur and this is all set up by Shambu Singh,” alleged NSCN (I-M) leaders.
