NPF only platform for Naga voice: Rio
Nagaland Post | Jan 21, 2012 | Dimapur:
Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio Friday stated that there were no political party in Manipur which had declared that it would support the cause of the Naga people in its election manifesto. Addressing an NPF election rally in Tamei sub-division under Tamenglong district, Manipur, Rio said that NPF was the only platform through which the Naga voice can be heard.
NPF would reflect the “desire of the Nagas” in the floor of the Manipur Assembly, he said while recollecting that all past initiatives of the Nagas’ desire to live together as a family have not yielded desired results. “So far we have gone unheard”, he said while adding that NPF was providing the platform to the Nagas to finally get heard.
