NPF govt in debt trap claims BJP
Nagaland Post | Dimapur, Mar 26(NPN)
Hitting out at the Naga People’s Front (NPF)-led DAN government, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in-charge northeast, P. Chandrasekhar Rao Monday alleged that the present government was “debt trapped” and has not means to raise funds to come out of those debts.
Terming suspension of 33% women reservation as “undesirable decision”, Rao questioned why NPF was “worried” and “angry” with women when they (women) were very much in “leading position”.
“If they don’t want women to be in leadership, why should women vote for NPF… there is no logic in that”, said Rao. Pointing out that BJP implemented 33% reservation in its party system, he questioned why “male dominated” NPF party was “depriving” women of their right whereas they should give chance to women like other states.
