NPF asks NSCN-K to shun guns
The Telegraph | Pradeep Pareek | Dimapur, Oct. 4:
The Naga People's Front (NPF) today appealed to the NSCN (K) to renounce violence and return to the negotiating table with the Centre, as it is "the ardent desire of the Naga people".
The central office-bearers of the NPF, in its meeting held today at its central office in Kohima, while reiterating its support to the ongoing peace talks between the NSCN (I-M) and the Centre, appreciated Delhi for extending invitation to the working group of the Naga National Political Groups (NNPG) for political negotiations. It has been the unwavering stand of the NPF that solution should include all stakeholders to bring permanent peace.
