Rebel funds seized in Bangalore
- NIA finds alleged Prepak-UPPK money in businessman’s account

The National Investigation Agency has seized Rs 1.14 crore from a businessman in Bangalore. The money allegedly belongs to the Manipur-based militant outfit People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak-the United People’s Party of Kangleipak (Prepak-UPPK).
“The money was deposited in the State Bank of India account of the businessman at one of the bank’s branches in Bangalore,” he said. The source, however, refused to disclose the identity of the businessman “in the interest of further investigation”.
