NE poems to feature in Gulzar's project

Gulzar explained that the project was commenced with the aim of establishing a dialogue between people belonging to various regions. "Culture binds us even though we do not know each other. A few days ago, I visited Imphal. The journey, which took five days from Delhi, taught me about the beautiful people there. Literature, poetry, theatre and the fine arts bring our land and culture together", he said.
Gulzar said AU's proposed department of performing arts drew inspiration from Ratan Thyam, the respected Manipuri theatre and film personality. "
