NE needs Centre support for devpt, says Mukul Sangma

Meghalaya chief minister Mukul Sangma has stressed on "serious confabulation" between northeast states and the Centre for expeditious completion of developmental projects in the region so that it remains at par with the rest of the country.
He made this observation while calling upon deputy chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia in New Delhi recently. "The region needs more support and there should be more projects to develop the northeast," Mukul told Ahluwalia.
