NE film festival in Delhi from Aug 18

Film buffs in Delhi will get an opportunity to watch several award-winning documentaries and feature films from the North East at a festival this week. “The Fresh Lens: New Cinematic Voices from North-east India” is being organised by India International Centre and North East Media Forum from August 18-19.
The films to be screened are “Aaba” (Grandfather) from Arunachal Pradesh; “Loktak Lairembee” (Lady of the Lake) from Manipur; “The Pangti Story” (Nagaland); “Alifa”, “Beautiful Lives”, “Sabin Alun” (The Broken Song) and “Antardrishti” (Man with the Binoculars), all from Assam).
