NE CMs urged to ask Centre to end racism

Close on the heels of Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh’s reaction on recent crimes against North East people in metros, Manipur People’s Party (MPP) has demanded a joint meeting of Central authority and CMs of the region to bring an amicable solution to the issue.
“CMs of NE region should jointly urge the Centre to bring an amicable solution to the issue of racism,” said MPP vice president N Ojit. The party also condemned the recent incidents in Bengaluru and Delhi.
