Myanmar ban on anti-India groups

The two leaders also agreed that “territories of either country would not be allowed” to be used for activities detrimental to the other,such as- training, sanctuary and other operations by terrorist and insurgent organizations and their operatives.
The security pact comes as a major blow to Northeast insurgents operating across the border areas as India and Myanmar Monday adopted a tough stance with regard to security scenario in the border region.
The move also comes close on the heels of the cease fire signed on April 9 between the NSCN (K) with Myanmar. NSCN (K) had recently revealed that it was permitted to set up sub-offices at Khamti in Myanmar’s Lahe district for easy communication between the two sides.
