My Love Bird
Herojit Philem *
Oh, My love bird
Here I stand with an empty bag.
Oh, My love bird is singing.
The once empty bag
is now filling with love songs.
Let her song become our bridge
To cross a throbbing river.
Oh, My love bird, do keep singing
To let me cross our throubbing river
Into our garden of love.
Oh, My love bird
I stand now with an empty bag
Fill this my bag full again with your song.
Oh, My love bird
Do not fly so high
Nor touch a glittering sky
Or else the sun may burn you.
Stay near me and fly not so high
My dearest love bird.
