Monsoon rain
Dr. Nunglekpam Premi Devi *
She's sweet! She's dark tall
She's heavy and she's furious!
She knows no boundary! She waits none,
She's blackish and she's whitish too,
All I remember is her Gail; strong, vivid and wild!
All I recollect is her bounty, her prize and her wills;
All I knew is she's happily wild and courageously untamed;
She's inhuman and ruthless;
She's one ferocious fantasy; one huge beauty realistic!
She loves her appearance, savage and terrible;
She hints all for her appealing dawn birth;
All sings a song of her arrival;
And all fear of her emergence.
She's sweet! She's dark tall
She's heavy and she's furious!
She knows no boundary! She waits none,
She roars and she thunders;
She laughs and she dances wildest on the dirt;
She loosens and flings her unkempt hairs;
She's actively supervising and controlling her wills;
She flutters and flashes and her laughter wicked;
She throws her force and she pitches;
All I praise is her fall and her pouring;
O hail! O hail! Furious hail
Pouring down the meadow lane;
So heavy; so scary down the grassland
Stripping down the quadrangle precinct;
Bursting and cracking, Smashing and crashing;
Shattering and beating, Rupturing and popping;
Thudding and banging, Clocking and logging;
She's sweet! She's dark tall
She's heavy and she's furious!
She knows no boundary! She waits none,
She's enormous as she's capturing, godly fierce;
She blesses all day and night, unholy;
She isn't stop nor isn't dry
She protected out herself the sunrise and the sunshine;
A day, a week, a month and a two;
Not a fierce sun heat powers upon her veins;
She pours and pours her feelings dutifully;
She wakes every little soul prayerfully;
She storms freely with no pious freedom to souls;
She fills enormously every river beds and every pond;
She engaged in heavily expectant, charging for their tributaries;
Wild and courageous; strong and fraught;
She smiles and she acquired inundation rush;
She's brilliant and she's a winning creation.
