Memory
Pr. Shyleyn Chothe *
walking through the paona bazar
again with noises and chatters of people and cars
i dare say it's my memory lane
with risks all around and fears
those familiar faces and alleys
beckoning through its darkness and myself
there i see peering through my weakness fear
its dead in the night when i left the site
i hesitate to go and to be on the road
what if i meet them
what if but i have to journey there to my family
cant just trouble them nor let them take the blame
what if they see the cash
what if with care and eyes wide
i check them width looking for them and those looking like them
what if i am tomorrow news
what if what if guns are found with me with my bullet-riddled body?
