Meitei Girl
Potshangbam Nyaydhar *
Anything we can learn,
But not the hearts of Meitei girls.
They flash their hair,
Which curls like noodles.
They wear chains,
Made of pearls.
At first glance,
At them our heart sticks.
But they are just complicated chicks
Their shoes they make us lick
When they are fed up
They just disappear with a click.
But some are as smooth as silk,
Who knows what a real love is.
But they are difficult to get at ease.
Their beauty so adorable,
Which makes our heart freeze.
Thinking about their beauty,
It makes us feel unease.
