- People in Tamenglong district appeal to stop attacks on ‘innocent civilians’

The turf war between the two factions of the NSCN in Tamenglong district of Manipur, which resulted in civilian casualties, has forced the people in the district to raise their voices against the clashes.
A public meeting yesterday at the district headquarters of Tamenglong appealed to all armed groups to vacate the civilian areas and stop targeting “innocent civilians”.
The meeting also appealed to the NSCN (K) to lift the “curfew”.
