Manipur trio guilty of terror link

A trial court has convicted three men for their association with a Manipur-based banned terror organization—Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP).
Manipur residents Chongtham Manglemjao Singh, Ngariyambam Ratan Singh and Naorem Amumacha Singh were convicted under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for raising funds for terrorist acts and being members of the terrorist gang after they pleaded guilty in the case. The fourth accused Chongtham Ibomacha Singh was earlier discharged by the court in 2011.
