Manipur terror money in real estate

In a massive haul by the National Investigation Agency, sleuths seized Rs.1. 14 crore from a Bangalore-based businessman, who allegedly confessed that he had received the money from a member of the banned Manipur-based terror outfit, PREPAK-UPPK. The seizure has brought to light funnelling of money by terror organisations into the Bangalore real estate sector.
It is said the businessman, whose name has not been revealed, received money from N. Shanti Meitei, self-styled general secretary of the People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak-the United People’s Party of Kangleipak.
