Manipur seeks State's help for IT growth

The Manipur Government is planning to set up an IT park in Imphal with the support of IT majors from Bangalore.
Speaking at ‘Manipur Kumhei', a cultural programme at the Raj Bhavan here on Sunday, D.S. Poonia, Chief Secretary, Government of Manipur, said the park would be established this year with the technical knowledge provided by Bangalore's IT firms. He said a special economic zone had also been planed for the State during the 12th Five Year Plan period.
