Junior volleyball Royal Mayang Imphal moved into the semi-final of the State-Level Junior Boys Volleyball Tournament organised by the All-Manipur Volleyball Association at Kairenbikhok today. The Royal Mayang Langjing outfit outplayed Thiyam Kongjil SWECA 3-1 sets.Three more teams, including Kairenbikhok KYSU, Naorem NYVA (B) and Irengbam SUWC also booked semi-final berths in the tournament.
Body-building: Three state body-builders, Kh. Pradipkumar Singh, W. Priyobrata Singh and M. Shaolin Singh, will feature in the Indian team for the Asia Pacific Body-Building Championship to be held in New Zealand on May 4 and 5.
Postponed: The Manipur Cricket Association Classification Tournament and the 14th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tournament have been postponed because of rain.
