Manipur Governor retains bill for appointment of Parliamentary Secretary

Manipur Governor Gurbachan Jagat has retained the Manipur Parliamentary Secretary (appointment, salary and allowances and miscellaneous provisions) Bills, 2012 even as all other bills which were passed by the state Assembly during its recently concluded monsoon session were approved.
It may be noted that Ibobi government had, with a view to plea Congress MLAs who were not inducted in his council of ministers, attempted to promulgate an ordinance for appointment of Parliamentary Secretary in his government.
