Maharashtra to arrange chartered flights to bring back NE students

Maharashtra government will make available chartered aircraft to take students of Northeast back to educational institutions in Pune or Mumbai from Guwahati.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan told a goodwill team from Arunachal Pradesh, led by MP Takan Sanjoy, yesterday that concessional chartered flights would be offered to students willing to go back.
Suggesting preparation of a list of all NE students studying in various cities in Maharashtra, Chavan promised allotting land near major educational institutions in the state for constructing hostels for NE students.
