Kohima to host summit on mountains
The Telegraph | Kohima, Sept. 13:
Over 200 representatives from different organisations, top government officials and lawmakers will attend the Sustainable Mountain Development Summit-III in Kohima from September 24-27 to discuss and bring mountain concerns to the centrestage in regional, national and global policies.
The summit, initiated by the Indian Mountain Initiative (IMI), will be attended by people from Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram and the hill districts of Assam, Tripura and West Bengal.
