7th Khangminashi Lecture Series : Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

Kanglei Khongyang Thijinyon (KKT), Imphal, an advanced research center has been organizing an interactive program “Khangminashi” under the Science Communication Scheme of KKT, Imphal.
The main aim of the lecture series is to nurture the young minds towards an exciting career in Science and Technology. Scientists/Professors/Researchers who are best at their own professional area will be giving lecture and interact with the young minds to motivate and enlighten them towards the exciting world of Science and Technology.
Speaker will generally talk about the present state of art in research in their respective field.
After a successful conduct of Khangminashi Lecture Series in 2018-2019, the seventh edition of the lecture series will be conducted on a virtual platform on 20th September 2020 at 1600 hrs (IST).
The resource person is Prof. Kiran Kumar K. Sharma, Deputy Director/Associate Professor, School of Nanoscience and Technology, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharastra. He will talk on the topic “Laboratory to Society: Role of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology” giving emphasis on Virus Kavach Fabric Spray Technology, which can deactivate >99% of bacteria and SARS-CoV2 virus.
The program will be organized in collaboration with Mitsna, Imphal. MitSna is a youth driven non-profit group working towards the goal of providing quality and equitable educational resources aiming towards the promotion of free and all round holistic education to the youth of Manipur.
