Four more factions of Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) have come out for peace talks with Manipur government likely to be held between August 11-12, said a highly placed official source Monday.
As disclosed by an official of the state home department, representatives of the centre and leaders of the four factions, Taibanganba, Lamphel, City Meetei and Pakhanglakpa will join the formal talks scheduled to be held in Imphal.
The four leaders already held talks with officials of the Union ministry of home affairs at New Delhi on July 31 last and inked an agreement to undergo peace talks and currently they are engaging in finding out a modality and ground rule for talks outside Manipur, the source added.
