Nagaland Post | Agencies | New Delhi, Jul 19 ()
Joint Secretary (North East), ministry of home affairs, Shambhu Singh is scheduled to visit Manipur for two days to “read the mind and start the initial process of peace talks” with the recently released Kangleipak Communist Party (MC) underground outfit’s self styled military secretary Lanheiba Meitei.
Singh will leave for Imphal early morning on Friday and return to the national Capital on Saturday night. It may be noted that Singh had visited Imphal on June 9 and did the groundwork for the release of Lanheiba from the jail and started the process of peace talks.
